Cultural Diversity- A Canadian Perspective

UPc29o

When conducting t Works cross-cultural communication and cultural diversity workshops I often ask participants, ‘what does it mean to you to be a Canadian’ and am often met with a lot of silence. Yet, if I was to send any participant to China they would know very quickly what it means to be a Canadian! Culture is like water to a fish…a fish does not know that water exists until it jumps out of it. This quote speaks to me as often we simply do not know who we are…or even question it…until we are out of our own cultural context. I invite you to enjoy this video by Canada Tourism who received over 7000 submissions and put together 2 wonderful minutes of video submitted from all across Canada.
